Who runs the Club?

The Club is organised on a daily basis by Mrs Carol Drury, supported by Mrs Christine Johnston.

Mrs Andrea Maden, who works in the school during the day, and Mrs Karen Hutchinson join the team for the afternoon sessions.

Opening Times

This unique scheme allows pupils of St. Chad's to arrive at school early or stay late:

From 7.45 to 8.40am and 3.15 to 5.30pm.  Each and every school day.

What we offer

There are a range of suitable activities which allow the children to socialise, relax and play.

Craft work, jigsaws, table tennis, play house, computers, television and videos are all available within the Club which is situated in the school computer suite, library and hall.

Children can take advantage of the quiet area where they can read, use the computers, or complete homework if they so wish.

We take good advantage of fine weather to enjoy our beautiful surroundings within the school site to play with outdoor equipment.

Refreshments

We offer cereals, toast and a drink to children who arrive during the early morning session.

Children with us after school receive a drink and a healthy snack.

Charges

£3.00 per hour, for each child attending.

Booking arrangements

Mrs Drury is available each morning until 9.15am in the Club for you to make booking arrangements for your child.

Should you experience a delay in collecting your child at the end of the day please telephone the school office before 12 noon and a message will then be passed to your child to make their way to the Club after school (Infant children are collected from their classrooms).
