In Spanish Yr 3/4 have been consolidating their knowledge of numbers by playing the board game ‘El Juego de la Oca’ (The Goose Game). Click here to see more photos.


El Juego de la Oca is considered the prototype of many of the commercial European board games of later centuries.

The game’s origins are uncertain. Some claim that it was originally a gift from Francesco I de’ Medici of Florence to King Philip II of Spain sometime between 1574 and 1587.
