In science we are learning about all living things and where they live, so we decided to find out about some of the creatures that live around St Chad’s. We went on a bug safari around the school grounds to look at micro habitats. We found leaf litter, log piles, piles of stones and grass clumps … and lots of minibeasts!
When we got back to our classroom, Mrs Hughes showed us how to closely observe the minibeasts and sketch them. We then collaged micro habitats that were suitable for our own minibeasts (which certainly weren’t ugly bugs!).
