Everyone at St Chad’s came together this week to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. This was a fantastic learning opportunity for all of the school and each year group had their own unique way of commemorating it. Some classes made their own poppies in a number of different ways, as well as other digital and physical pieces of art work. Others wrote letters and poems, whilst some classes learned and sang songs! The children then shared their fantastic work during our Friday assembly, which they even presented themselves.
Here, you can see a video of the presentation and see for yourself what a wonderful job the children did!
