A message from Brandon Fletcher, Head of School:

It gives me great pleasure on behalf of all the staff, children, parents and governors to warmly welcome you to our wonderful school. St Chad’s is a very happy and welcoming school, with a fantastic team, who are both nurturing and inspirational. We are committed to providing the best learning experience possible and the children are placed at the centre of all we do at St Chad’s; they always come first. We want the children in our school to be happy, safe, confident, enjoy learning and achieve their full potential. Everyone, not just the children, see themselves as part of an effective learning community that works hard to achieve excellence – no one settles for second best. Each child at St Chad’s is treated as an individual, allowing room for particular talents and skills to flourish, as well as encouraging confidence and success in areas they find tricky to accomplish. St Chad’s children are encouraged to explore and develop all aspects of their characters so as to become confident, independent thinkers, and young people who are prepared for the next stage in their life by the time they leave us. Our aim is to make each child’s primary school days exciting and rewarding, and to develop independent, thoughtful, resilient community members who enjoy a sense of awe and wonder about the world around us, so that they develop a love of learning and discovery that will last all their lives. I am incredibly proud to be the Head at St Chad’s CE Primary School and would encourage you to come and visit so that you can experience our friendly and welcoming school for yourself.
